A treatment plan that may include non-opioid medicines, therapy, injections and specialist referrals.
- 03
When opioid medication is part of the plan, a written pain agreement, checks of Oklahoma's prescription monitoring program and drug screens as needed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you prescribe pain medication?
Yes, when it's appropriate and safe. Your provider will discuss every option with you, and opioid prescriptions come with a pain agreement and regular monitoring as Oklahoma law requires.
I already take pain medication from another doctor. Can you take over?
Bring your records and medication list to your first visit. Your provider will review them before making any changes.
Will I get medication at the first visit?
That depends on your evaluation and records. Your provider will explain the plan at the end of the visit.
What should I bring?
Photo ID, insurance card, a list of medications and past treatments, and any imaging reports.
